Driving in the Philippines

I just returned from Taglibaran the end of Jul. If you really want to, or need to drive over there it is not to hard to do it. Just take your drivers license down to a AAA store and they will, for $23.00, issue you an International Driving Permit which is good for one year. When you visit over there take both your State license and the new International Permit. I do not know about the insurance end of the deal as I found out it was easier to pay for the drivers and quicker for them to get me there also as they knew the area.
