We enjoy the walkable ecosystem Boracay offers -- excellent gym, wet market, restaurants. spa and the gorgeous beach all at your fingertips. Larger grocery not too far. (Though we enjoy other places in the region, Boracay has superior walkability. We would rather not rely on scooters/trikes/taxis.)
We would like to explore any places with a similar vibe on or near a beautiful beach.... We have yet to try Panglao/Alona. Appreciate any ideas -- along with your frank pros/cons.
