Gold/Silver Bullion

Does the Philippine customs/laws allow visitors to bring Gold/Silver bullion into the country? 1 oz .9999 silver rounds or 1 oz Gold Buffalo's? I know actual Peace/Morgan Dollars are US minted currency and recognized as face vale of the coin ($1) but they are .7734 of an ounce of silver and selling for well over $30 Federal Reserve Notes. I'd like first hand experience from anyone that has entered the Philippines bringing Bullion. Thank you for helping me out on this. The Customs page is vague in description.
