My wife asked me "How did your wife wind up in Odessa?"
As for "my wife" the Sov. Union had JOBS for college grads, NOT like the U.S. where"ONE IS ON THEIR OWN TO FIND A JOB, medical, one comes with their "hat in hand, please mister I need a job!" She was assigned to Alma Alta, and did not want to stay there so she found a position in Kiev.
