Describe your group.
A social organization of English speakers residing in Santiago. Members meet monthly and share lunch weekly at the organization's meeting house. The organization also does charity service, volunteer service and members enjoy many fun events and parties.
What is unique about your organization?
This organization united three long standing separate organizations (American Association, Canadian Association and the British Association of Chile) into one unified group. It is opened to all English speakers no matter their country of origin.
What kind of activities does your group sponsor?
ne of the primary missions of the International Association of Chile is to provide a coordinated effort to raise funds to improve the living conditions and educational environment of the disadvantaged in Chile. Through our annual fundraiser, Noche de Ayudarte, we are able to provide financial support to a variety of charitable projects by working with non-profit institutions in Santiago throughout the year. How often does your group meet?
Monthly organization meetings Weekly (Thursdays) for luncheon/pot luck gatherings. Is there a membership fee?
An annual fee is due on the 1st of January each calendar year. You can pay this once a year at a cost of $42,000chp or you can make two half year payments of $25,000 due on January 1st and July 1st.
