Excellent. A state of the art theatre that seats 600. Lovely large swimming pool and training pool. Fairly good sports facilities. Small classes. Specialist teachers in the ES
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The ES and HS run the IB programme - PYP and IB Diloma. They use best practices from the sponsoring countries - UK, USA and Canada. Our children were able to make the transition from this school to their new school very smoothly. Teaching is of a good standard and expectations are high. The children are encouraged to develop as independent thinkers and to challenge themselves. They are not restricted to text books and the testing culture of the US.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Very well organised PTO that actively encourages parental involvement. Some good social activities organised.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Enroll early as this school has waiting lists. Be aware that children with Special Needs may not be catered for as only those with mild learning needs are really accepted in this school.
