Submitted by ResearchTeam

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Queretaro

What advice would you give someone preparing to move to your area about the actual move, choosing a neighborhood and finding a home?

Getting around in Queretaro is relatively easy as the public transport system is reliable, affordable and convenient. Expats should make sure to get a card for the public transport, as it is the cheapest way of getting around. The city has a high rate of security, however it is still important to take precautions when traveling during the evening, and it is advisable to research high risk areas before settling down in Queretaro. Expats should also be aware of the extreme weather, with long and hot summers, and cold and dry winters. Additionally, it is important to research the local culture and traditions before moving to Queretaro, in order to get the most enjoyment out of living in the area.
