"I am moving to the DR. What is the situation w/ the power - what converter do I need, surge protector, or whatever... Also, what's the best way to get some sort of an extended visa or the best way to stay as long as possible until I can get "residency" - hmmm, and then how does that work??? Have been researching but there's no substitute for experience - I really appreciate your help...
