Do most people working in singapore have a Maid or home help??

Hi, I am a young Aussie (living in London) and my partner and I are considering a move to Singapore for a change in lifestyle, I will not be working but studying) and have a 2 year old child. I am told it is very affordable to get very good home help i.e Nanny, cleaner etc.. and would be very interested in hearing from people who have had some experience. The move would definately depend on if I could afford some support as I wish to continue my studies and have another bub!
