Farming

I am in the process of buying a farm in Nicaragua. I am an Indian veterinarian with post graduate degrees from the USA. I live in MN/WI area where 7 months of the year is spent hibernating (unless you are an outdoors person who enjoys the cold weather. I would like to farm mushrooms, have an apiary, raise pigs for meat, cows for milk/meat, lots of egg laying chicken etc etc. Any suggestions where markets are and how far the farm should be from Managua or ??????
