US taxes

Hello! We’re thinking of retiring in Croatia but are afraid of being double taxed by US and Croatia if we retain dual citizenship (I am US and Croatian citizen). Does anyone know if my pension would be taxed by both US and Croatia? What about my husbands salary if he works in Croatia?

Also, is healthcare expensive? Are expats insurance?
