Hello all! My wife and I are planning on moving to Nicaragua within the next 2 years. We plan to buy land in the next 6 months. We are undecided as of yet on exactly where, but Ometepe, Matagalpa, Teustepe and El Castillo are what we have narrowed it down to (if you can call it that!). We will be doing our next visit in 3 weeks! We would love to opportunity to meet up with anyone who has already taken the plunge. Please message us if you would be interested in meeting us.
Our plans are to build a hotel/ hostel/ eco-resort and eventually a school, so we would obviously be very excited to talk with anyone about their experience doing business in Nicaragua.
We are also open to the idea of working with other people with similar goals, either on a 'helping each other out' level or even possibly a partnership. We have been in contact with a few people from this forum who have similar goals and are excited to see that their are a good number of like-minded people out there!
