Rent prices for nice 1 bedroom apartments in Alaska can range anywhere between USD 1,000-2,000 per month, while nice 2 bedroom apartments will cost around USD 1,500-3,000 per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant will usually cost USD 20 - 40 per person," said one expat living in Alaska.
