"Alabama offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, specialty care, and mental health services. The state is home to many excellent hospitals and medical facilities, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, Huntsville Hospital, and UAB Highlands Hospital. These hospitals offer a variety of services, from emergency care to cancer treatment. Additionally, Alabama has several rural health clinics and community health centers that provide care to underserved populations. The state also has a number of specialty care centers, such as the Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham, which specializes in pediatric care," commented one expat who moved to Alabama.
