What is it like to retire in Uzbekistan?

"Retirement in Uzbekistan and its surroundings can be a rewarding experience for expats. There is an active expat community in the region, with many retirees taking advantage of the cultural attractions, recreation, and nightlife available. The country is home to a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, as well as the Ichan-Kala fortress in Khiva. There are also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as hiking, biking, and horseback riding. For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars to explore.
