"Expats in Accra often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The language barrier can be a challenge, as English is not widely spoken outside of the city. Additionally, the local customs and traditions can be difficult to understand and navigate. Expats may also find the traffic and lack of infrastructure to be a challenge, as roads can be congested and public transportation can be unreliable. Finally, the cost of living in Accra can be high, making it difficult for expats to adjust to the local economy," explained one expat living in Accra, Ghana.
