Will I save money living in Managua?

Answer this Question

We asked expats if they save money living in Managua. They said...

"Living in Managua can be significantly cheaper than living in the United States. The cost of living in Managua is much lower than in the US, with basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing costing significantly less. Additionally, the local currency, the Cordoba, is worth much less than the US dollar, making it easier to stretch your money further. As a result, living in Managua can be a great way to save money," wrote a member who made the move to Managua, Nicaragua.
