We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Kathmandu has seen an increase in crime in recent years. Petty theft, such as pickpocketing and bag snatching, is common in tourist areas. Violent crime, such as robbery and assault, is also on the rise. The city has seen an increase in drug-related crime, as well as organized crime. The police are working to combat these issues, but the crime rate remains high," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Kathmandu, Nepal.
