Expats can also join local gyms and fitness centers, as well as attend local events and festivals. Additionally, expats can meet people by attending local restaurants, cafes, and bars, or by joining online forums and social media groups," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Salalah, Oman.

"Become a member at the gym of one of the international hotels. Go to the Oasis Club (only real expat pub/ restaurant in town)," commented one expat who made the move to Salalah, Oman.
