Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Taipei if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Yes, there are a good number of medical specialists in Taipei. People in Taipei can access a wide range of medical specialists, including general practitioners, specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and more. For highly specialized medical care, people in Taipei can go to one of the many hospitals in the city, such as National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, or Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. These hospitals offer a wide range of specialized medical services, including advanced treatments for cancer, organ transplants, and other complex medical procedures," remarked another expat in Taipei, Taiwan.
