As a foreigner living in Aqaba, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in Aqaba if they have access to public healthcare in Aqaba. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"As a foreigner living in Aqaba, you will have access to public healthcare, but the quality and availability of services may vary. Public healthcare in Jordan is generally considered to be of good quality, with well-trained medical professionals and modern facilities. However, it can be crowded, and waiting times may be long. Many foreigners and expats choose to use private healthcare facilities, which offer a higher standard of care and shorter waiting times, but at a higher cost. It is recommended to have comprehensive health insurance to cover any medical expenses while living in Jordan," said a member in Aqaba, Jordan.
