On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads may dislike the limited availability of Western amenities and the lack of a large expat community in Phan Thiet. The language barrier can also be a challenge, as English is not widely spoken outside of tourist areas. The city's infrastructure and public transportation options may not be as developed as in larger cities, which can make getting around more difficult.
