What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?
When we asked expats and global nomads in Kelowna about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...
"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the local healthcare system in Kelowna. The healthcare system has had to adapt to the changing needs of the community, including the implementation of virtual care and telehealth services. The local hospitals have also had to adjust their services to accommodate the influx of patients with COVID-19. In addition, the healthcare system has had to increase its capacity to meet the demands of the pandemic, including the addition of more beds and staff. Despite the challenges, the healthcare system in Kelowna has been able to provide quality care to those in need," explained one expat living in Kelowna, Canada.
