What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Nigeria?
We asked expat moms who gave birth in Nigeria about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...
"It is important to research the best hospitals and doctors in the area before having a baby in Nigeria. Make sure to have a birth plan in place and discuss it with your doctor. It is also important to have a support system in place, such as family and friends, to help you during the pregnancy and after the baby is born. Additionally, make sure to have all the necessary supplies and equipment for the baby, such as diapers, formula, and clothing. Lastly, be sure to take advantage of the many resources available to expats in Nigeria, such as online forums and support groups," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Nigeria.
