"Expats in Monaco often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The language barrier can be a challenge, as French is the official language and many locals do not speak English. Additionally, the cost of living in Monaco is very high, making it difficult for expats to adjust to the local lifestyle. Furthermore, the local culture is quite conservative, and expats may find it difficult to adjust to the more traditional values and customs. Finally, the small size of Monaco can make it difficult for expats to find a sense of community and make friends," wrote a member who made the move to Monaco.
