What should I pack when moving to Jordan?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Jordan to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Jordan, it is important to pack clothing that is appropriate for the climate. Lightweight, breathable fabrics such as cotton and linen are ideal for the hot summers. For the cooler winter months, it is a good idea to bring some warmer items such as sweaters and jackets. It is also important to bring comfortable shoes for walking, as well as a hat and sunglasses to protect from the sun. Additionally, it is a good idea to bring any necessary medications, toiletries, and other personal items. Finally, it is important to bring any important documents such as passports and visas," remarked another expat who made the move to Jordan.
