What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Puerto Rico about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"My experiences with the local healthcare system in Puerto Rico during the pandemic have been mixed. On the one hand, I have been impressed by the dedication of healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly to provide care to those in need. On the other hand, I have been frustrated by the lack of resources available to those in need, as well as the long wait times for appointments and tests. Additionally, I have been concerned by the lack of access to mental health services, which has been a major issue during the pandemic. Overall, I believe that the healthcare system in Puerto Rico has been stretched to its limits during the pandemic, and more resources are needed to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Puerto Rico.
