"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Poland. Non-EU citizens must obtain a permit from the local Voivode, the governor of the region, in order to purchase property in Poland. EU citizens are allowed to purchase property without a permit. However, they must register the property with the local land registry office. Additionally, foreigners are subject to the same taxes as Polish citizens when purchasing property in Poland," wrote a member who made the move to Poland.
