Is the cost of living in Pakistan high?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the cost of living in Pakistan, they wrote...

"The cost of living in Pakistan varies greatly depending on the region. Generally, the cost of living is lower than in many other countries, but it is still higher than in some other parts of the country. In the major cities, such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, the cost of living is higher than in the rural areas. The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Pakistan is around $200-300 USD per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment is around $400-500 USD per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Pakistan can cost around $10-15 USD per person," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Pakistan.
