Moving to Ho Chi Minh City from Canada

10 years ago
Hello,

My company offering me a job to localize in Ho Chi Minh City. I have to quit my job here in Canada and localize to Vietnam.

Here is my current situation:

* Married with 2 kids - 11 and 9 year old.
* Salary and Bonus I make around $200KCAD/year. After tax take home about $120K CAD.
* Benefit and Pension cost to company is another $30K on top.

I have not receive formal offer yet but I was verbally told the offer will be around $10K per month gross. They might offer assistant to kids internal school assistant.

Is this enough to maintain similar life style in Canada?

What do you think the offer have to be in order for you consider the move?

Thank you in Advance
