Chinese in Nicaragua

Hello all,

I am considering moving to Nicaragua for work. My wife is Chinese and our daughter is half-Chinese. I have heard there is some hostility towards Chinese in Nicaragua from citizens who do not support the canal. I could be completely wrong, but I would really appreciate some info on this matter. Otherwise I have heard the Nicaraguans are very friendly!
