My wife is considering a Global Deployment Position to the HK office of her firm. We will only go as a family (2 kids).
We have two major issues:
1) School for our 5 and 7 year old girls.
2) Employment for me.
1) We will not go unless we have our kids registered with a respectable school. How do we ensure this?
2) My career in Canada is very specialized; GST and PST across Canada. I've worked for the gov't and one of the big four CA firms, and now I am with one of the major Canadian banks. The problem is, there is no equivalent sales tax in HK. I have strong analytical and overall business skills, however I only have about a year of managerial experience. What kind of job prospects would I have and what are the chances of me attaining a similar standard of living compared to here in Canada?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
