Advice needed

I'm looking for any and all advice and considerations that I should be aware of before I make a decision as well as if I do decide to come. I will not be bringing family and lodging is provided. One of the things I am trying to decide is how much I should expect financially. My other assignments were more inclusive such as food and per diem were supplied. I have been asked to come up with a number for my expected salary and I dont want to undervalue myself or overvalue myself. Thank you everyone in advance for your assistance.
