Gorgeous. It is an immaculate school with student's works displayed proudly.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

We came from American curriculum, so the transition was not difficult. The work is much more challenging than back home. We love the way students are taught to think critically and be creative.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Parents are very welcome at the school and several are really involved. There are many volunteer positions offered and visits are welcome. Parents also have a welcome breakfast once a month for new parents to the school. From there, all kinds of doors are open for those who are interested.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

We chose the school because of the international feel. Students from over 60 nationalities are represented. If you are looking for a 'stereotypical' American school, go to ASD, but if you want a family environment where cultures are celebrated and minds are challenged, come join the best!
