Chetemel to Caye Caulker

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to Caye Caulker from Guadalajara. Flying from here to Belize City is almost double flying to Chetemal and then crossing into Belize on foot. But then I need to get from the border crossing to Caye Caulker.
