Distribution for the Placencia Rotary COVID-19 Village Relief Program for Southern Stann Creek was launched on Monday April 20th. 7 Villages Representatives came to pick up there Food and Supplies to take back to the Villages for Distribution. These villages were: Placencia, Red Bank/San Pablo, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Georgetown Siene Bight and San Roman. It was heart-warming to hear the outpouring of thankfulness and gratitude by the Village Council Chairs and Clergy that picked up their supplies on Monday and Tuesday. We look forward to the remaining Villages pick-ups and will post as these happen.
This program is focused on 16 Villages of Stann Creek and will provide 113 Families with substantial Food and Supplies for a family of 4 for up to 2 weeks. There will over 600 people that will be served by this Program in Phase One.
