Owning a business in belize

My Dream of retiring in Belize has now become a family affair.

I currently own and operate a construction company here in the states and my son, son in law, and daughter bring their own skills to the table... Siding, roofing and drywall. Along with painting and in home healthcare.

I also have 20 yrs of management in bar and restaurants.

The ideal option would be to purchase- a place to live and operate a hospitality property while my husband and the boys (with the true skill and management coming from the women??) do what they do best and continue in the trade of construction.

Is this even possible? How hard is it to move as an American citizen and hit the ground running as a business owner and getting a start up off the ground?
