VISA expires 4 days after wedding - nao Lua de mel?

After 3 months here I was able to extend by stay by 3 months without needing to leave Brazil...

What I failed to notice while I was at the Policia Federal was the expiration of my Tourist Visa is 4 days after our wedding (she's Brazilian).

We are taking our honeymoon in Uruguay and needless to say there is a concern about returning...

I believe as long as we can prove we just married (the marriage license) then we should be OK, but don't want to assume anything

Searches have failed to provide an answer to this situation -- anyone here have experience or knowledge in this matter? I'm quite sure I need a temporary document of some sort...
