Buying a dishwasher in Colombia. Advice needed !

I'm looking to buy a dishwasher in Colombia, however, people have told me that the dishwashers here only use cold water to clean. Meaning they have no internal heating element to warm up the water !
Does this sound correct ? If so does anyone know where I can buy a normal dishwasher?
As you can tell I know very little about such a subject.
