Hello all,
I'm an acupuncturist from the US, coming for a visit for a few weeks at the end of May through mid June.
I've been toying with the idea of opening an acupuncture clinic in one of the major cities, Bogota, Medellin, etc.
My question is this: 1. Do you think the expat community would be more likely to seek out acupuncture in Colombia, from a US trained and native English speaking acupuncturist? My spanish is so-so, and thus i think i would try to focus my outreach on the expat community. 2. Is there demand for these types of alternative medicine services there? And 3. Is there a local economy that could support this type of service?---I.e. are there enough upper middle class to upper class professionals that would pay out of pocket for such services?
I would love to hear your perspective in this.
Thanks!
