tax exemption under law 1565

I am sharing this information in case it can help any Colombian who returned or is returning in the future. Any beneficiary of the Plan Retorno law 1565 has tax exemptions incentives on the money the person take up to $968,895.098 pesos and the household items with a value of $35.000 dollars. Of course the person has to apply for the Certificate of Retorno and send the money using a bank which will request evidence of the legal origin of the funds. Banks should not charge the tax 4xmil for financial transactions in Colombia. I verified this with the DIAN (IRS in Colombia) and the Cancilleria. If you are Colombian and wants to return apply as soon as possible for the certificate and before you send money.
