I have fallen in love with Colombia during a 1 year long bicycle tour throughout the country in 2014 and so i am going to return to that beautiful country next month with the intention of settling there for good.
At the moment i am trying to figure out a way to make a living in Colombia and am posting on this forum hoping to obtain hints about possible work opportunities for a Gringo.
I speak German and English fluently and Spanish on an intermediate level. I am not a professional in any work field but rather have spend my life as a " jack of all trades ".
My ideas at this point are working in the emerging tourism industry of Colombia using my language skills. I can see myself as a travel guide / translator ( something i have already done on a substitute basis in Huila ) or working in a hotel / hostel frequented by foreigners.
I also have some ( limited ) savings which i might be willing to invest should the right kind of business opportunity come along.
If you know of any opportunity for me please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
