Most dangerous cities in the world

We often get asked about safety, by people considering moving to Colombia, and I am sure, to other countries in Latin America too.

Its good to see our safety record here has improved enormously over the past few years. I remember when Bogota was always regarded as the most dangerous city in the most dangerous country in the world, and had no competition for that title.. (Many years ago, I hasten to add).

Then Medellin and Cali took the crown, with the growth in violence in the cartels.

Now it seems, many years later, that things have certainly turned around, and Bogota is nowhere to be seen in the list.
