Panama Ferry & Duty Free Shopping?

Hey Guys,

So is there *really* a Ferry operating between Colombia and (Colon?) Panama? Yes, no , maybe, sometimes?

I understand that many imported items are quite expensive in Colombia - Is it possible to do any duty-free (or at least 'discount') shopping for electronics, etc. in Panama and bring your purchases back to Colombia via the mythical Ferry and WITHOUT paying import tariffs? Dress Well;), DC
