What's the rain like in Medellin lately?

So I guess that as I've begun climbing in age, currently at 35, I've started to become more and more preoccupied with things like the weather. Thusly, I find myself checking Medellin's weather for the hell of it every other day, even though I'm still in Mississippi. So it's been rainy most days in Medellin according to Accuweather. What kind of rain are we talking about? Typical tropical rain situations where it rains for an hour then clears up for the rest of the day and stuff like that?
