Hello. To state the obvious--I'm looking to relocate to Jamaica. Some questions I'm having are the usual--cost of living, best (recommended) places to live, social life, employment potential, ease of getting around.

Some less obvious would include: viability of living in the less touristy areas, support services from the government in terms of information to a foreigner trying to function there; and, is hiring home services such as yard care, maid, etc. feasible?
