My other half and I have ridden it from Mexico City to Panama City - had an amazing time - now its your chance to see Central America by bike. Or even head for South America! Would also make a great runabout around the city, that could easily get you to weekend trips away.

Mechanically really sound, done 38,000 kms. Engine runs really well, purrrrrrrs nice and smooth. It's a very, very reliable bike (which is why we chose it). Bought it from a guy who had clearly cared for it, kept all sorts of reciepts and so on - he was one of the main reasons we bought this one. Has a new chain, new super-bright headlight (just in case you have to ride at night) and new break-pads.
All the mexican registration papers in order, even certified by a Public Notary in Mexico (seems to carry a lot of weight in the part of the world), also has original purchase receipt etc. Was easy crossing all the borders.
Lots of crappy Chinese bikes floating around central America, the best thing about a bike like this is that you are able to just concentrate on the amazing view from the remote beach you've found - knowing the bike is solid. It's a great bike and it's given us an incredible trip.
$990 USD we paid $1750, so this is a pretty bloody good price - have spoken to some other expats who have imported their cars, cost em a few hundred (should be cheaper for a motorbike).
