Internet Service Providers - Chiriqui

Anyone have information about internet service providers in Chiriqui, particularly the Volcan area?
I have read elsewhere that there is some sort of cellphone service available in some areas.
Just got a quote for $300 to set up service for the month of November, with the company taking back the equipment after we leave.
That is just nuts.
