Change of plans

Our intention was to get down to Panama in April to do a check of the Country and return later to immigrate. As part of that plan, we put the house up for sale here in Canada, thinking it would be sold in June or so. WRONG. House sold in 5 days so now we are homeless in April. Guess the April trip will likely be the only one! Fortunately we are both used to traveling light and adapting, so I do not forsee any problems.

One question - vehicle licensing and Insurance - how does it work and what are typical costs?
