Good day expats,

My wife and I are planning to move to the Coronado Golf Tower when we retire. I was wondering if there are other golf courses in Panama that have available housing? If so, how do they compare to Coronado? Thank you and we hope to enjoy our retirement soon.

We were just there exploring the area near Coronado. There's Royal Decameron near Playa Blanca. Rio Hato also has a nice golf course community. All nice.

The golf community in coronado is nice.

There are several other golf communities including

Santa Maria near Panama City, http://santamariapanama.com/santa-maria/ (open in Chrome to translate). The owner of this development is offering seller financing. PM me if you need a contact

There is also Buenaventura which is near Playa Blanco. http://buenaventura.com.pa/en/home-2/ There is a Marriott hotel there too. Really nice golf course and pro shop

There is a large golf course in Chitre, in the Azuero. I've heard the fees to play golf are only $50 a month unlimited.

If you prefer the cooler weather, Boquete offers two golf courses.
There is a 9 hole at Valle Escondido and an 18 hole golf course at Lucero

Vista Mar has a golf course and many living options from houses to condos. It’s about 5 minutes past Coronado from Panama City. I’m not a golfer but have friends who golf there and say it’s very nice. It’s a beautiful area with a nice marina and the roads are much better than Coronado.
